My name is Montaha El-Siddik, Somaya’s little sister, I am 36 years old, I live with my husband and 7 kids in burj al Shamali camp, I am from saasaa Haifa Palestine.
Some of my kids are working they finished school, the girls are married and three are in school still. Having said that I barely find any spare time for myself, I have to support my husband who had an accident few years ago and he cannot work.

Tatreez has helped me a lot with being able to stand up on my feet and supporting my products. It also made me meet new people which I call friends. I learned sewing and embroidery from Somaya who always not have been just a sister but also like a second mom. She taught me each stitch how it’s done and what it means to carry and be part of our Palestinian routs and traditions.
Tatreez opened a door to selling our products not just to our friends or people we knew but also worldwide, and that made me stronger and made me believe in myself more.

I would love to be able to open a school to teach our tradition and keep it alive.
